How often will my dog get outside to run?

All pets boarding with us will be taken out 4-5 times per day for potty and play

My dog is on medication, can she still stay?

Yes! we administer oral medication, ear and eyes drops for dogs that tolerate and are willing to participate.

SFOP can charge $5-10 daily for particular methods/amount of medications to be administered.

Can I drop off early or pick up late?

Yes! if you need early drop off or late pick up this must be arranged ahead of time! If your trying to create a reservation and would like to request a different drop off and pick up time, please call the resort at 240.278.6335. These services may not be available at your requested time due to another dog occupying that room until their scheduled check out.

If you arrive prior to your scheduled arrival time a $20 early check in/late check out fee will be applied to your account.

Will my dog get to play with others?

While safety is our number one goal we understand that your dogs mental health is a top priority while in our care as well. Getting your dog out with others may help them settle in and become more comfortable for their stay. If your dog is well socialized and passed all of our requirements and temperament testing we will make it a priority to find your dog friends and a small playgroup to join.

Requesting Independent play for your dog is perfectly fine as well.

How many dogs do you allow in your playgroups?

Our playgroups are on average between 2-10 dogs with 2-3 handlers in the yard at all times.

Will my dog play with dogs of all sizes?

No, Your dog will only play with dogs of similar size. We have 3 large real grass yards so groups can be divided into size easily.

What are your yards like? Will my dog have access to real grass?

Yes, Your dog will only see real grass with us!

We are just over 7 acres on farm land. We have 3 large real grass yards that are mowed weekly during warm season. Our yards are also treated regularly for pests and a full pet safe disinfect is done in the yards and runs on a scheduled routine basis. Our yard stay clean and eliminations are promptly picked up between groups and potty breaks by our amazing staff.

If I need to cancel...

We ask that you call with in 10 days of your check in date to receive a refund or credit of your deposit. If you make a reservation with in that 10 day period your deposit is nonrefundable.
